The Research Group in Biomedical Sciences and Technologies (GRSTB for Groupe de recherche en sciences et technologies biomédicales), financed by the FRQS (Fonds de la recherche du Québec - Santé), is a multidisciplinary group of researchers in the field of Biomedical Engineering. The GRSTB has 35 regular members on the campus of Ecole Polytechnique and University of Montreal, and in the research centers of affiliated hospitals.
The group's research programs mainly fall under the following thematic axes, without being restricted to them: 1) biomaterials and biomechanics, 2) imaging and signal processing, 3) nanomedicine and regenerative medicine.
The mission of the GRSTB is to promote emerging research areas in these thematic axes, to create synergy and collaboration among its members, and to reinforce links between campus laboratories, hospital laboratories and clinics, and industrial partners.Hyperlinks for more details : What is GRSTB, Projects and expertise, Facilities and services.
