Abstract:
Cd[OC(NH2)2]4(NO3)2, Cd(C6H5NH2)2(NO3)2 and Cd[OS(CH3)2]2(NO3)2 are synthesized and identified by spectroscopic methods. The electrochemical behaviour of complexes is studied by cyclic voltammetry on Au electrode. The complexes exhibit irreversible behavior in presence of KNO3 0.05moll −1 as a supporting electrolyte. Consequently the parameters of apparent transfer, diffusion coefficient, the standard Gibbs energiy of activation and the standard electron transfer constant are calculated.
